Prior to selection into the NTFRS applicants must be certified ‘medically fit’ through examination by an approved medical practitioner in accordance with AFAC Medical Guidelines.
Applicants also undertake a physical fitness assessment designed to assess levels of strength, cardiovascular endurance and job-orientated assessments.
